Image of Russells Hall Hospital at nightBased in the heart of the Black Country, The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is proud to serve more than 400,000 people living in Dudley and the surrounding areas.
The first hospital trust in the area to be awarded coveted Foundation Trust status in 2008, we provide a wide range of medical, surgical and rehabilitation services.
The group is made up of three hospital sites, with one inpatient hospital (Russells Hall) located near the centre of Dudley and two outpatient hospitals (Corbett and Guest) located in Stourbridge and Dudley respectively.
In April 2011 we welcomed more than 500 staff from Dudley Adult Community Services to the Trust as part of the Department of Health’s move to transform community services. The Trust has services based firmly in our community for patients with long-term conditions, acute care needs, rehabilitation, end of life care and audiology.
Our hospitals are among some of the most technologically advanced in the country, where state-of-the-art equipment and modern, purpose-built buildings combine to create the highest standards of patient care.
During 2011/12 we have:
  • Delivered 5276 babies
  • Saw 37,777 day cases
  • 516,876 outpatients
  • Treated 98,452 patients in the Emergency Department
Our PFI partners have:
  • Packed and laundered around 3.1 million pieces of linen
  • Supplied 1800 new pillows
  • Cleaned and delivered 156,000 uniforms
  • Cleaned more than 5,000 miles of corridor
