High quality clinical care

Quality is at the heart of everything we do at The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and all of our staff play a vital part in helping us to achieve safe, effective and patient-centred care.
The Trust is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is working to ensure ongoing compliance with the CQC's 16 Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.
This requires a continuous review of all of our directorates and specialties against the standards to ensure the delivery of high quality care.
This is achieved by:
-
Promoting a culture of quality throughout the Trust and ensuring staff are provided with the tools to enable them to effectively monitor their performance
-
Continually measuring what we do and making improvements as a result of the findings
-
Introducing measures to ensure monthly reporting on key issues such as patient experience and nutrition. These ensure the channels of communication between the Trust Board and wards are open and easy to access
-
Producing an annual Quality Account which provides a tool for the Board to assess quality across all of the services the Trust provides
